This document provides instructions for an activity to teach students geographic thinking and 21st century skills through examining their hometown of Fredericksburg. Students will consider how landforms, settlement patterns, and cultural identity relate in Fredericksburg by sorting terms into categories and discussing how these geographic concepts interconnect.
