            För att hantera konflikten behöver partnerna acceptera:

            1. sakfrågorna (C);

            2. de procedurer och beteendenormer man enats om (B); samt

            3. det subjektiva resultatet av lösningen, så som känslor,
            inställningar, bilder av motparten, och önskningar om framtida
            relationer (A).
