DO YOU THINK GHOSTS REALLY EXIST??? One Saturday afternoon, David was alone at home. His parents went out to have dinner with some friends. David thought that he could watch a scary movie. He telephoned his friends: Pete, Betty, Kate, Tony, Amy and Laura. They studied together at school. Laura was the youngest of the group and she was the most scared. Before watching the film, they were all laughing except her, who was scared because Laura really believed in ghosts and the supernatural. But she didn’t tell anyone. They watchedthe film and after that, everybody was very frightened because the film was very real and interesting. That day it was raining and the light went off several times. Suddenly, they realised that there was someone or something with them. They were terrified and decided not to watch another horror movie anymore. These friends will meet to speak, walk, dance… Mª Teresa Morales

THE STRANGE DOOR One day I got up and I heard a door. I wasalone at home. I went down and I ate my breakfast, but I heard the door again. I thought this was very strange. I went up and I saw the door was opened. I had closed it before going down. What do you think? Is this true or false? By Brain Casado
THE PICTURE A man decided to build a house to live in it year-round with his family, his wife and eight children. So he built a big beautiful mansion that was the envy of all the people. The family moved to live there at the time that the painters gave the last touch. They decorated the house at will and put a box that the father had bought as a birthday present for his daughters in their room. On the lid of the box, there was a clown with his fingers stretched out. The children loved it, although it had been very cheap. When they had been living there for a few days, one of his daughter was sleeping alone in a room, but when Chloe, her mother came into the room, she found her dead. She cried hysterically and called her husband. After this, she wanted to go of this house at once. She didn’t like the house and the strange things that were happening. The clown in the box only showed nine fingers now. The husband managed to calm down his wife and they stayed in the house. Two days later, mysteriously one of the teens crashed the bike and died. The woman asked her husband to leave again, but they stayed. Time passed and one more child died. Chloe began to go crazy. They had eight children and three had died. Her husband thought it was just bad luck, but Chloe had decided to leave the house with her children with or without her husband the following day. The next morning Chloe was dead. It was to much. The clown on the box six Fingers out. The man decided to investigate about this clown and the box. Two more children died, they were found drowned in the banks of the river. Two more fingers had disappeared. The same sday, one of the daughter took a drug overdose and died too. Then The father knew it was the clown and not a terrible accident. He swore for his dead wife that he wouldprotect his two remaining children. But he could not do it. They all died in a fire that destroyed everything in the house except a strange box with a nice clown on its lid. Fran Jiménez Rengel
THERE ARE GHOSTS IN MY HOUSE One Friday, it was Mery’s birthday but she was very sad, because no one remembered to congratulated her and she didn’t want to tell them Anything. When she left the school, Mary returned quickly home. There weren’t people in her house. Her mother left her a note in which she wrote: “ I am in your grandmother’s house, I will return late. Her father was working and Mery didn’t have brothers or sisters. Mery went to her bedroom and she began to cry until she fell asleep. Suddendly she heard a bark that woke her up. It was her dog “Boby” and “Boby” never barked, so Mary went down to the garden to see what happened. Boby was crazy and mary got very scared and she decided to enter home again. She slept a lot of time and it was very late. Her mother hadn’t returned yet and Mary continued alone at home. She was turning on the TV when she listened some steps and she was very scared. There wasn’t anyone in the house but she looked around the rooms to be sure. She didn’t see anything strange and she decided to have a shower. When Mary got dressed, she saw there was a note on the mirror that said: “You Should be happy!” By ….. Suddenly her best friend, Anne, arrived at her house. Anne covered Mery’s eyes and took her to the house basement. Here her friends and family were waiting for her. They had prepared a birthday party. She felt stupid to be frightened of her own family and friends, but NOBODY HAD WRITTEN THE NOTE OF HER MIRROR … By Sandra Martín
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER One night I was walking home from my friends’ house all of a sudden I felt something grab my leg. I looked down but there was nothing there. I thoght to myself “that was weird”. I started to walk when I felt something grab my legs, whatever it was it had a strong grip on my legs. I couldn’t move, next thing I know, I was on the floor, it tripped me. I was laying face down when all of a sudden it flipped me and started hitting me. I tried to scream but nothing came out. I closed my eyes, hoping that it was all in my head. When I opened my eyes, I was in my bed. It was all a dream. I got up and went into the bathroom to wash my face when I noticed bruises all over me! Was it a dream or was it real? By Chad Phillips
THE MYSTERIOUS HOUSE Weeks ago, I was having a shower when I listened to someone call me. I went out of the bath and I went to see if my mother was calling me, but she wasn’t at home. Then I looked for my sister and it was like a joke but she was not in the house. When I realised that there wasn’t anyone at home, I was really scared. Later, I went to my room to dress up and I found a paper on my bed and I could read; “I’m near you, and you cannot see me”. Then I felt a soft wind and I went out to the street, the door closed behind me. From that moment I could never return to my house and we decided to buy a new house in a near village. MY BROTHER IS DIFFERENT One day my brother prepared a party at home. That day he wanted to celebrate his birthday. He had never wanted to do it before. First, he invited his friends and all the family. All people were scared because my brother was different and everybody knew it. At the party, he laughed and spoke with all. I was really happy, because he was a goog brother, but he usually speaks little. Finally, when the party had finished, I spoke with my brother and I said to him that I was very happy with him.
