Project Play: Play More, Learn More, Fear Less!

Project Play was a collaborative project between three Wisconsin library systems that provided a free, online program to encourage library staff to explore emerging technologies through self-paced lessons and play. Staff from the participating libraries collaborated to develop the curriculum, select topics, and track participation. The program was successful in bringing staff up to speed on new tools and making technology exploration a positive experience, though it required significant resources to run. As a result, the project continues in a less intensive format.
