1. This was my favorite assignment by far. I had no idea there were so many ways to let chldren
learn about other cultures in such interesting ways. I also enjoyed hearing the other
presentations on the other pillars of education. I could use this assignment in my own classroom
to teach students about foreign cultures, or to interact with students from around the globe.
This assignment would also be good to use to teach kids that everyone learns in different ways,
and that each way, pillar, is impotant and why. I think this whole assignment was a project
based learning pillar. Even though my pillar was globalization, I learned by doing a project. I am
sure there would be a way to improve the assignment, but not that I can think of. Again, I loved
this assignment! I think that maybe each group could have incorporated a short part on each
pillar and why each is important. I would have liked to expanded on the ideas of the
correspondence between students and foreign places. Children love to see places that they have
never been, and the visuals are great for learning and leaving a lasting impression.
