Session Objectives: Look at UniHub –what is where,-navigation, logging in and basic generic information My UniHub- for logging in to it-accessibility to Eresources-especially from off campus Library Catalogue-accessing textbooks, journals, your Library Account, placing requests My Subject Guide/BLOG Other Libraries and Inter Library Loan
- 4. Uni Hub Page The New UniHub links to Learning Resources under the Your Study tab. There ARE A NUMBER OF LINKS FROM HERE INCLUDING ONE TO THE Library Subject Guides
- 6. For IT-Scroll Down Click on the IT Resources links to view information about booking a library computer in advance, connecting to Wireless, using a library laptop
- 7. Library Opening Hours Check in Advance! Self Service at the weekends. You must learn to use the self service machines and where to collect and Reservations
- 8. Library Catalogue-Print Book “Minority Rights in Asia” The Library Catalogue defaults to General Keyword Search. Any terms may be used together,eg author name, title words
- 11. Student Number Password-Date of Birth If you are having problems with this not working contact initially the Ground Floor Help Desk or the Web Help Desk at 020 8411 6060
- 12. Click on Request
- 13. Confirmation and Logout It is crucial that you check regularly your Middlesex Email as you will be notified there when there is a Reservation for you to collect at the Sheppard Library

- 16. Electronical Journal Access We will look at how to access electronically at the session on the 28th!!
- 18. Check This Regularly Your Borrower ID is your Student Number and your PIN is your Date of Birth
- 20. Library Catalogue-EBOOK The Library Catalogue defaults to a General Keyword search. Any terms may be used together eg.author name,title word

- 26. Type in Your Username and Password-Network This is the same Username and Password you use when you log into the Network!
