2. Ecclesiastes 8 “ Good Leadership” “ Who is like the wise man? Who knows the explanation of things? Wisdom brightens a man’s face and changes its hard appearance. Obey the Kings command, I say, because you took an oath before God. Do not be in a hurry to leave the King’s presence. Do not stand up for a bad cause, for he will do whatever he pleases. Since a king’s word is supreme, who can say to him, ‘what are you doing’?

5. Ecclesiastes 8 “ Good Leadership” Hebrews 13:13 and 17 says, “ Remember your leaders and those who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith…Obey your leaders and submit to their authority, they keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you”.

Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves” Luke 22:25-27

10. Ecclesiastes 8 “ Good Leadership” Then too, I saw the wicked buried- those who used to come and go from the holy place and receive praise in the city where they did this. This too is meaningless.”

11. Ecclesiastes 8 “ Good Leadership” “ When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, the hearts of the people are filled with schemes to do wrong. Although a wicked man commits a hundred crimes and still lives a long time, I know that it will go better with God-fearing men who are reverent before God. Yet because the wicked fear God, it will not go well with them, and their days will not lengthen like a shadow.

12. Ecclesiastes 8 “ Good Leadership” There is something else meaningless that occurs on the earth: righteous men who get what the wicked deserve and wicked men who get what the righteous deserve. This too, I say, is meaningless”.

13. Ecclesiastes 8 “ Good Leadership” “ So I commend the enjoyment of life, because nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat, drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work all the days of the life God has given him under the sun”.

Ecclesiastes 8 “ Good Leadership” Isaiah 25:6,7 says, “On this mountain the lord almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine-the best of meats and the finest of wines. On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all people, the sheet that covers all nations; he will swallow up death forever”.
