Have you ever heard of the term: Universe Wide
Web (UWW)?

The term UWW was popularized back in
2010 when NASA’s TJ Creamer first
                            Tweeted from the International Space
Station. The term not only shows just how
wide the Internet’s reach is, it also shows
just how influential and essential it is to
human lives in the modern era. If there’s
one way we can measure the Internet’s
influence over people today, it’s by simply
looking into the world of e-commerce.
Numerous studies show that the physical
economy is increasingly being driven by
the Internet. In fact, 80 percent of the
online population has experienced the
ease of online purchasing while 50
percent of the people who go online have
bought things online more than once. E-
commerce has been steadily growing
throughout the years with 19 percent of
increase per year. In 2015, it is believed
that the world of e-commerce will net
about $1.4 trillion in sales.
In the United States alone, e-
commerce sales reaches a 10
percent growth every year and
experts believe that the sales
could pile up to $279 billion by
2015. Studies also show that
there are 184 million Americans
who are considered online
consumers. This means that you
can sell iPhone units online and
be sure that you’ll never run out
of prospects.
But why do people prefer
 shopping online? Here
   are the three main
  reasons according to
         Invesp.
The number one reason why people
prefer to buy online than in a physical
store is because it saves time.
Actually, 73 percent of online shoppers
say that the fact that they can shop
without having to stand up from their
chairs and do all the dirty work is the
major reason they choose to use their
laptops or smartphones for shopping.
Imagine the amount of work and time
you save when all the things you need
are in front of you, just one click or tap
away! You’d never want to sell an
iPhone or laptop anymore!
Compared to going into a physical store or
buying in a real world market, online
shopping is way more convenient especially
for people on the go. Surveys show that 59
percent of online shoppers like the fact that
they can easily compare prices through their
iPhones or laptops. In the real world, you’ll
have to jump from one shop to another just
to compare prices. Also, 58 percent of
online shoppers say it feels like they’re
doing personal shopping because they get to
avoid the long lines and the crowds of
people. About 40 percent of them also say
they save big-time in gas because they don’t
have to drive around just to find a store that
sell iPhone units or other goods at low
prices.
Online consumers prefer doing their
shopping through the Internet because they
are exposed to a wider variety of products
and services in one sitting. Almost 67 percent
of people who buy goods online say they
enjoy a great variety of products that are
usually sold at a lower price (55 percent)
because of reduced taxes on goods (55
percent). Now that’s what you call wise
shopping!
