2. About Me I’m from Yankton, South Dakota I’m an elementary and special education major with a Spanish minor I’m a member of the Coyotes swimming and diving team

3. Hobbies/Activities AWOL I will be going to New Orleans over spring break to help rebuild houses destroyed by Hurricane Katrina Swimming The college swim season runs from September through February We practice about fourteen hours a week and have meets most weekends

4. Activities I am a part of the Conference Team for swimming and diving We will be in Indianapolis from February 16-21 This will be the first Summit League Championship for the Coyotes Swimming and Diving Team

5. Activities My favorite activity has always been swimming. I have been swimming since I was five. Some of my favorite memories are from swim practice, swim meets, or traveling to the meets

6. Professional Goals I hope to be working as a lower elementary teacher or as a special education teacher at any grade level I also hope to be a swim coach.

7. In ten years… I hope to be secure in a teaching position I hope to be living in South Dakota I hope I will have started a family I also hope to be a swim coach working especially with younger swimmers

8. Miscellaneous I am engaged and getting married October, 1 2011. I have known my fiancé for seven years. We both swam for the club team in Yankton
