• ¿Which are EURIS goals?:
• To raise the awareness of companies, knowledge centers and Universities
1 on the Open Innovation concept, as well as to provide case studies,
resources and tools facilitating the embracement of Open Innovation.
• To improve regional framework conditions and to open up innovation
2 ecosystems in order to foster further interaction and collaboration
between Triple Helix agents at partners’ regions.
• To transfer to partners’ Regional innovation Strategies the best practices,
new models and recommendations issued from the programme, as well as
3 to deliver general policy recommendations for other regions interested on
the opening up of their innovation ecosystems.

• Joint development of sub-projects for the exchange of
best practices or the development of new policies, models
COOPERATION and approaches contributing to more open and
collaborative environments.
• On going strategic thinking process by EURIS partners, sub-
project participants and stakeholders, on which lessons
STRATEGIC THINKING learnt, learning, and policy recommendations can be

– COOPERATION: 6 Sub-projects in different fields:
• Improvement of information processing flows and methods between
networked bodies/ecosystems for fostering OI practices and environments.
• Raising awareness of OI among companies and SMEs by providing relatable
case studies and tools overcoming topical and typical approaches to OI.
• Promotion of hybridation between sectors as a source for OI approaches.
• Role of online collaborative platforms for R&I collaboration and valorisation.
• Study of Shared Facilities and Facility Sharing as a tool promoting OI.
• Studies on OI barriers and facilitators among companies and guidance for
business model evolution following OI approaches.
