Over 300 thermostats are computer monitored to deliver outstanding comfort in a sustainable, cost effective way. “Eco Corridors” insulate from temperature extremes and create great lines of sight for a more aesthetically appealing environment.

Air is cleaned of pollutants and particulate to hospital grade or higher – work becomes a healthier place to be. We are also exploring UV filtering to further scrub the air.

20. MAKING THIS CHANGE EASIER First-Time Homebuyer Individual Income Tax Credit This federal tax credit is available to first-time homebuyers in the District of Columbia. The credit is the smaller of: $5,000, if single, married filing jointly, head-of-household, or qualifying widow(er) ($2,500, if married filing separately) or the purchase price of the home. WHY WE MIGHT LIKE THIS CHANGE… Environmentally Responsible – LEED Certification LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.

LEED Certification tells our peers, clients and customers, that our building's sustainable features have been verified by a third party to promote energy conservation, to ensure a healthier indoor environment and to reduce our building’s impact on the environment.
24. WHY WE MIGHT LIKE THIS CHANGE… LEED Scoring System In LEED 2009 there are 100 possible base points plus an additional 6 points for Innovation in Design and 4 points for Regional Priority. Buildings can qualify for four levels of certification: Certified - 40 - 49 points Silver - 50 - 59 points Gold - 60 - 79 points Platinum - 80 points and above We purchased a Gold LEED Certified building and we are building out at the Platinum level.
