brother Vilas Kate HOM
supported from Nagpur, India
 They use to beg for the food
and use to sleep on the
road, rehabilitate and doing
education and part time job,
 “we like to help people, that
makes us happy.”

stitching cloths at
home and earning
some money
 Her brother is now
driving the car and
working.

Date of birth: 24th July, 2008
Grade – hw is in preschool and very
sharp and learn very soon
Family – 1 elder brother, & sister
his father had passed away when
he was 2.5 yrs old. His father went
to work and there he suffered a
massive heart attack and died on
the spot, leaving behind his wife
and 3 kids.
Mother is labor and works hard to
earn and live

 Name: Anjali Rahate
 Gender: Female
 Date of birth: 9th sept, 2002
 Grade – 3rd std.
 Her parents were divorced. They used to
have frequent quarrels among
themselves, which led to their being
divorced, then her father did a second
marriage but his happiness was short lived
as within a year of marriage he was killed in
an accident, leaving behind a 3 month old
daughter from his second wife. Her step-
mom tried to pull on but couldn’t
manage, so she decided to abandon the
daughter from her husband’s first marriage

 Grade – preschool
 Family details and conditions- her
father had passed away when she
was 6 months old. Her father was
sick because of tb and other
sickness and he died in
that, leaving behind his wife and
4 kids.
 Her mother works as a
servant and found it hard to
meet the needs of the family. and
Riyas home very pathetic
condition no proper cloths and
no food for them all are
malnourished children

Date of birth: 14th July 2006,
CHILD ID: 15
grade – 1st std.
History - she was found living under the bridge along with her
mother. Her mother is a rag picker and often she was found
accompanied with her daughter. She takes care of her 1 younger
sister and brother too. Her father is in the jail and since for the
past more than 1 year he has been in the prison. They were in a
pretty bad shape when they were found by the staff of HOM.
Seeing their plight, it was decided that she should get
education. Hence, she was adopted and is being taught in the
school and being educated
