2. Gender and Age
• In are film noir we represented are film noir as conventional ages and
genders. As in many of the major film noirs we kept it the same with most of
the protagonist being young in the age range of 30-40 because you want
them to look they could win someone over and get them on their side to
maybe do something.
3. Location
• Same with the gender and age we kept it the same because I felt that the
film noir is better in a country where it originates from and comes from
America and I made sure of this I based it in the American city of NewYork
as it is one of the main sin city. Which has the feeling of a dark film noir and
that dark side of the city which makes more suspense. But within the office
of where they are you can see that it is really rundown which suggest that he
is trying to keep undercover.
4. Class and Status
• In our film noir we made them quite a high status but not within in the social
hierarchy I put more the man in more of a gang. Then the woman is also
high up because she was meant to be killed which suggest that she had a lot
of power because she survived it as well.
5. Ethnicity
• For ethnicity we really kept it as the white American. I did this because in
most film noir the typical protagonists are usually white Americans and have
a man and woman they are never usually biased to one sex.
6. Society
• In our film noir we kept them as a quiet but deadly people so you had to
watch you back. But with both of our protagonist in the film noir as a
powerful man but not within the normal society
7. Stereotypes
• I think that it are film noir I think that we were really stereotypical to how
people and how they are. But I don’t think that there are many stereotypes
within film noirs
