This pop CD is appealing to young children, teenagers and even young adults.
Sells millions of copies worldwide. The photography on this cover is of the band
itself which is appealing to girls mainly, because of how they look and dress.
This CD is representing light and summer because of the types of clothes they
are wearing and the colour of the blue sky in the background. The font which
says ‘one direction’ is in capital letters with an unusual font which means its not
like every other font its different. One direction are a newly formed group, tat
came in second on x factor last year. They have become a massive part of the
genre pop music and they fit in so well with the music business. This CD was
there first CD.

3. Pop party 9
This CD is for everyone of all ages that like pop music it has such variety. The CD cover
is so appealing. All the bright colours and pictures of different pop artists draws more
attention to the CD. The big bold font is very useful and very effective, I like this
because it draws the attention of the audience. Also the different colours really
appeal to me because there is such a wide range. It is Different to other CD’s because
they don’t use all the colour and they go with a picture of the artist, its nice to
whiteness something different. Pop is upbeat so the different colours support this
genre of music really well. Its not simple.

4. Emeli Sande
Mostly elder teens and young adults will like this. This CD cover is different
to the other two I have chosen because I wanted to give a variety of pop
artists and the variety of CD covers and how the personalities of the artists
differ, you can tell this by the CD cover and how they are presented. The
black and white colour scheme is different to most cd covers because
normally they are colourful to show the genre pop music, but her pop
music is different to others. The picture of her in the centre which is the
most attention drawn to it. Its of her face to the side, so its not full on. This
CD cover isn't the most fabulous or colourful but it has got a meaning like
every CD cover has, to show what type of pop music it is. Everything is
different but all have the same genre of music.
