2. Walt had a very unique childhood.
Walt was born on December 5th, 1901 in Chicago,
Illinois.
In 1906, the Disney’s moved to a farm in
Marceline, Missouri where he loved to ride
pigs!
When the Disney's moved to Kansas City, Walt
ran a newspaper route for the Kansas City Times.
3. Walt had a fun and exciting life.
When Walt was 21, he made the Laugh-O-Gram
cartoons.
Walt was 24 when he got married to Lillian
Bounds on July 13, 1925.
In 1966, Walt died of lung cancer on December
15.
4. Walt had great accomplishments during his
lifetime.
Walt released a Mickey Mouse film called
“Steamboat Willie” in 1928.
Walt appeared on TV in “One Hour in
Wonderland”
in 1950.
When Walt was 54 he opened Disneyland on July
17th, 1955
