Industry will witness converges of online and offline marketing
channels. If not all marketing campaigns, most of them will be
integrated marketing campaigns.
Growth of email marketing

This year we will witness increase of social media, content
marketing and mobile usage. The importance of email marketing
will grow with the integration of social media, content marketing
and mobile.
Behavioural email marketing

The email marketing will shift its focus form push based marketing
to behavioural based marketing.
Growth of database marketing

In the year 2013 the importance of data and analytics of the data
will gain importance. The marketing managers will shift focus to
data analytics.
Growth of content strategy

The focus once again will be on the content marketing and content
strategy. Business will see emergence of branded niche or vertical
communities.
Growth of contextual marketing

The marketing managers instead of doing a blind run will start
focusing on the contextual targeting through ad networks
Conversion rate optimisation

The marketing managers under pressure to perform will focus
more on the ROI driven marketing and conversion rate
optimisation.
