(Seol-nal) Lunar New Year. Seol
is, along with
“Chusok”, one of the two
most important holidays in
Korea.
The New Year‟s greeting is
„say hay boke-mahn he
pah du say yo‟
It literally means „Please
receive many New Years
blessings.‟

of the August of the lunar
calendar.
People visit their
