For my final major project I have chosen to create a magazine. I have
decided to do this as I have never done so before and wanted to try
something new. The type of magazine I am going to make is a Healthy
Living one which will benefit people trying to change their lifestyles.
Synopsis of Idea

The genre of my magazine will be Healthy Living; this will include tips and
advice on how to stay healthy, such as exercising and the correct diet. This
means that it will have to look light and fresh with clean bright colours. The
information will be presented in a professional way and the information will
be relevant and concise.
The images will all be relevant also, focusing in on the theme of the
magazine; I will use a range of techniques when gathering these shots to
make them all look different.
My magazine will be aimed at people who are interested in keeping fit and
living a healthy lifestyle. They will be of both genders (male and female)
therefore there will be tips in there which benefit them both.
I haven’t set an age range for the magazine; however there will be things in
there which will be more beneficial to different age ranges than others and
this will be clearly explained.
The audience will expect to see things that will help them lead better lives,
and show them how they can get the best of what they do.
They need to know the correct foods to eat to fully better their lifestyle and
how they can prepare them as part of a balanced diet.
My project will meet the needs of my target audience which are health
conscious males and females.
It will include helpful tips and hints, menu plans and exercise routines.
There will be informative guides on how to achieve these things and step by
step instructions on what to do.

I will use a range of production techniques for my final major project. It will
have to be edited together in a professional way.
I will be able to use Photoshop and other computer software to create my
magazine.
Also, I will use a wide range of photography skills I have picked up
throughout my time in college to better my magazine.
