1. This is a photo of Joshua hitting
for Westlake H.S. 2011. His father
purposely dropped him into a B.G
photo of a MLB batter’s box, with a
Yankees catcher. It was created to
serve as a motivational piece for
Josh, helping to keep his dream
alive.
2. Josh Power-Gomez has been a Baseball
Player since his parents can remember. As
young as three years-old he was inclined to
pick up a bat and ball and mimic players. As
if that wasn‟t enough, Josh‟s first word was
„BALL‟.
Josh entered Little League at the age of five,
and he began living his dream.
At age ten he was recruited onto his first
travel-ball team. At age twelve he was
chosen to play on the 2005 Rancho Buena
Vista Little League World Series Team –
which went 25-1 only losing to Hawaii in the
finals on National T.V..
Entering High School he showed he was a
Baseball Player to the core. Josh was
awarded MVP or Outstanding Player his
Freshman and J.V. seasons.
Josh attended Westlake High School this his
senior year, joining the Varsity Baseball
squad in winning their League Title.
3. Again, as a motivational
element in keeping
Joshua’s dream alive, his
father took a shot of him
hitting for Westlake H.S.
and dropped it into a B.G.
photo of the College World
Series field.
4. The purpose of this presentation is to
ask you to consider Joshua for your
Baseball Program. With High School
behind him, he maintains his passion
for the game, and his constant desire
to play Baseball.
Josh believes your program is one he
will fit well within. Thank you in
