Editor's Notes
However we are not going to grow Mango in the short term. For our short term goal: we will grow sweet potatoes instead. Although growing mango will give us a higher return but it need 5 years to grow and has a higher start-up captial than potatoes which only need very low start-up captial and has a faster return. For our mid term goal, we will grow Mango and sweet potatoes at the same time. While waiting for the Mango to grow and harvest which take about 5 years, we will have the income from Sweet potatoes to provide the support for growing Mango.Next our long term goal will be to grow Mango on all the 5 herctaries land area. According to the leader of the village, 5 hervtaris can grow about 2000 Mango tree AND since the villiage doesn’t have enough manpower to mange these amount of trees, the villiage will use the profit they earn from the mango to hire people to assist them to grow and mange the mango. NEXT qinhao will present the detail of our plan.
