7. CBS News (TV or online: www.cbsnews.com)What and When: Once a week, on _________ you will be required to create part of a brief news report that will be recorded and played in class. Each week you will be assigned a different subject to report on (International, US, Sports, Weather, Business, Technology, Science, or Health). Content: For this report you should choose one story that got your attention and inform the class about what happened. Make sure that you answer these questions in your report: Who? What? Where? When? Why? How? Length: Your report should not be longer than 1-2 minutes. Attire: On the days that we film the news report, you should wear business casual attire (from the waist up at least). Observe the types of things reporters usually wear as a model. Assessment: You will be assessed by the instructor and your peers. You will also be asked to complete a self-assessment of each of your segments.
