Star Status
Just as all of you worked hard this year to receive membership points, our chapter as a whole
also works toward a status based on a set of requirements from the national office.
I am proud to announce that we have earned Gold Star Status this year! That’s a level up from
last year!
Points
Points are up-to-date besides March to College Day.
E-mail me at clark3ns@cmich.edu if you would like to know where you are at!
I will be making certificates for the active members and putting them in the UC Box #31. If you
would like yours mailed to you or delivered to you another way please email Nikki at
clark3ns@cmich.edu
Suggestions for next year?
We came up with some great suggestions for next year:

Having speakers at meetings
Events at meetings
Have a table at main stage
Email all members who are in the society (have paid dues)
2. Scholarship awareness
Volunteering with safer sex patrol by doing bar patrol/kit stuffing

Get a Twitter account
Have a captain/chair/committee for Relay
I would love to hear any other suggestions any of you may have. If it’s a suggestion for events
we do, how to get attendance up at meetings or what our e-board can do to make it a great
experience for you I really appreciate any input. Please don’t hesitate to email me at
clark3ns@cmich.edu for any ideas!
Thanks for a great year at NSCS
