Registering for the Exam:
“Apply” to take the exam with GBCI (www.gbci.org)
Upload your document of attestation demonstrating
professional experience on a LEED registered project
Pay $100 application fee
Once your registration has been approved you will
receive an “Eligibility ID”
Use this “Eligibility ID” to schedule your exam with
Prometric (www.prometric.com/gbci)
Pay exam fee - $150 for USGBC members, $250 for
nonmembers

Short (10 minute) tutorial to go over computer
based exam software
Multiple choice question exam – some of the
questions are “multiple selection” (i.e. choose 3
out of 5)
