2. Narrative A Narrative video is where a video tells a story, an
example of this is Just One Last Time – David Guetta.
This video shows a story of a man who travels back in
time to save his girlfriend who dies in a house fire.
This is the video that I will be using, the reason that I
have chose to analyse this is because it is the easiest
to understand and definitely only has one story. Other
narrative music videos can sometimes have alternate
meanings whereas I only want one meaning for my
music video.

3. This is at the start of the
video. It shows fire in the
background, and a man
holding his head in his
hands. Suggesting that he
has set the fire of
accidently. Setting the
scene for the rest of the
video.
This features shortly after, it
shows a different man with
a note, who we presume is
of his late girlfriend. This
puts a sad theme on the

4. Just after, CGI shows the
main character travelling
back in time and reunites
him with his wife/girlfriend.
This is shown within 10
seconds so that it can base
the next few minutes of this
one moment.
This then shows the fire and
the main character busting
through walls to save her.
Adding to the narrative
story.

5. This is the end of the narrative music
video. This shows that he replaced her
overall by dying to she lived. This then
goes back to the start of the video when
the note was shown. The narrative video
makes people watch videos and listen to
the music.
