2O12 has been a challenging year for Small Business

• Emergence of the Carbon Tax and the implications
• The two speed economy
• Sunday trading

• Improved our Website
• Embracing the Social Media Marketing concept
• Ran a number of very successful function/events
 2 very successful Corporate Golf days
 Small Business Awards – most successful to date
 Charity Auction and support the Childrens ward at the Health
Campus
 JBA Knowledge Builder Breakfast Series (Monthly)
 AGM with speaker Priya Cooper and appointed a new board
 A record number of Sundowners
 A number of State and Federal issues raised and debated on
behalf of members.

Joondalup Business Association.
• Re engineer our model to provide members with real value
• Assist Start Up Businesses with the lack of a proper incubator
facility
• Re Connecting with our Stakeholders and providing a meaningful
exchange of ideas and synergy
• Looking at ways to work with similar Associations
• Growing our membership base
• Costs
• Engagement of our Members.
