Backup Gmail to Dropbox
- 1. Google Gmail is an excellent email service so you might find yourself using it for everything in your life: from work related email to everyday emails, to corresponding with friends and family. - 3. Click on “See Plans and Pricing.”
- 4. Click on “Get Started” for whichever plan you prefer.
- 5. The sync wizard will appear.
- 6. Now, just drag the Evernote icon to the empty Google Drive on the left.
- 7. Click on “Sign Up with Google Account” Click on “Allow.”
- 8. After the account is created, you need to authorize cloudHQ to access your Evernote notes.
- 9. So click on “Add Gmail” and you will be forwarded to the Google page to confirm that cloudHQ can access your Gmail. Click on “Authorize” and you will be redirected back to cloudHQ.
- 10. The email will be saved in Dropbox in hierarchical structure and organized by date, with folders representing year, month and day. Click on “Next >>” on this page.
- 11. Now, just drag the Dropbox icon into the empty box on the right.
- 12. Click on Allow and you will redirected back to cloudHQ. Click on “Add Dropbox” and you will be forwarded to the Dropbox page to confirm that cloudHQ can write to Dropbox.
- 13. Click on “Create Folder” to create a folder. Name this folder something like “Gmail in Dropbox.”
- 14. Click the newly created folder and press select.
- 15. Now you need to select the format into which you want to export your email and whether you want to backup only attachments or only the email body. Let's select HTML and EML for now.
- 16. And finally, just click on “Synchronize Continuously” and we will start an automatic and continuous copy of all your Gmail emails into Dropbox.
