Defining Lean IT
Lean IT engages people, using a framework of lean
principles, systems, and tools, to integrate, align and
synchronize the IT organization with the business to
provide quality information and effective information
systems, enabling and sustaining the continuous
improvement and innovation of processes.

Defining Lean IT
Lean IT has two aspects:
1. Outward-facing, supporting the continuous
improvement of business processes, and
2. Inward-facing, improving the performance of IT
processes and service delivery.

Key Questions for Lean IT
