The document summarizes the implementation and integration of the Pure research information system at University Medical Central Groningen (UMCG) by the Central Medical Library (CMB). In 2011, UMCG began searching for a single system to track valorization, reports, and research output. This resulted in the selection of Pure in 2012. From 2013-2014, the CMB prepared for implementation by bulk importing data and defining roles. In 2014, they created awareness and trained researchers. In 2015, Pure officially launched, and the CMB began validating records, importing from Web of Science, and improving the system.
