3. Step 1- Read Instructor Emails Your instructor will send you a weekly email attachment to your MyHancockemail account called: Instructor notes The Instructor notes is a pdf document. You will need adobe reader to open it. If you don’t have the software, download from here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=BUIGO You have to read the instructor notes every week for: Reminders homework/quizzes due on that week Steps to access homework information Instructor’s recommendations on the material you are reviewing that week: videos, comments or best practices
4. Step 2 – Download Assignment/project sheets Assignment sheets: Are posted in Blackboard under the Content section, Assignments folder Are named after each chapter Contain instructions on homework to hand in and how to submit it to instructor
5. Step 3- Comply with weekly deadlines - Class Schedule The class schedule shows you what material will be covered during any given week. It works together with the class syllabus to show you how the class will be run. Check the “First week- Getting started” folder in the Content section of Blackboard for this information. Print a copy of both the class syllabus and the class schedule and have it handy, so that you can refer to them during the semester. Yes, you can work ahead of schedule, but make sure that you double check your work for completeness before submission. Work will be graded after due date.
6. Step 4 – Check gradebook for feedback You can access your gradebook in Blackboard by clicking on the Tools link in Blackboard clicking on the My Grades link Email instructor if you have any questions! cmontanez@hancockcollege.edu– check the class syllabus for other ways to contact instructor besides email.
