Theme for the Course
Global Studies is a survey of world cultures, mostly in the present or recent world.
Additionally, relations between nations and major events are encompassed in the
course. Generally, Global Studies is the course taken by freshmen, although it is
possible for members of other classes to take it.

Grading Policy
The grading breakdown for each quarter is as follows:
Unit Exams / major assignments --            Quizzes -- 15%
60%                                          Homework Assignments – 15%
                                             Class Participation – 10%
