Brod Bagert is the award-winning author of 17 books of poetry for children, young-adults, and adults. His
work has received numerous awards, including International Reading Association’s prestigious Young
Adults Choices award. In collaboration with hundreds of classroom teachers, Brod writes poetry across
the grade K-8 curriculum—poems that are rock-solid on Common Core State Standards and richly
