CLELAND AND SOUCHET !
Cleland & Souchet was formed by Richard Cleland and Jean Galea Souchet
in 1999 to indulge theirdesire to import qualitywines into Malta.In 2001,
they decided to expand the company’s activities bydevelopinga
pioneeringluxury lifestyle retail concept and openinga large flagship
outlet in Portomaso.The subsequentyears saw the companybuild its
portfolio ofbrands and services to the point where it is now considered to
be a market leader in the areas in which it competes; namelyluxury
lifestyle retailingand the wine merchants sector.
LUXURY SHOP :
Our flagship store in Portomaso was opened in December 2001 and it is now widely considered to be
Malta’s favourite luxury lifestyle retail destination. With over 200sqm devoted to luxury for the home,
distinctive gifts, quality wines and fine foods, we have created a unique retail concept for the little and
large luxuries in life.
HOTEL AND SHOP :
In 2008, we opened two luxury boutiques in leading 5 star hotels with a smaller new version of our
retail concept and a greater focus on the provision of the highest quality Maltese products.
We do havetwo internshipposts available in the area of assistingretail
sales and supportingcustomer service within ourluxuryshop and café at
Portomaso. We can define the precise responsibilities with you at a later
stage, however, I would stress that the key characteristicwe are looking
for with ourinterns is a positiveand flexible approach to workand a good
team spirit. If you are interested,please let me know.
First internship post available :
 assistingretail sales (=aider les ventes au détail)
Tasks possibles :
L’assistant des ventes assure l’interface entre un fournisseur (ou une filiale), une
entreprise de récupération et un client pour l’enregistrement et la préparation des
commandes. Il gère la commande du client et la facturation. Il effectue le suivi de la
livraison des produits. Il transmet les informations nécessaires permettant l’organisation
de l’après-vente (suivi des commandes, logistique, suivi des litiges).
L'assistante peut aussi se charger de constituer une base de données clients et
actualiser les tableaux de statistiques de ventes, traiter les factures et transmettre
(par téléphone, courrier ou e-mail) des informations sur les coûts et les délais.
 ensure the relationship between the company and customers.
 manage the delivery of products.
 deal with customer orders and their invoices.
 convey the information to organize the after-sales (like monitoring of orders,
dispute ...)
 build up a customers databases
Second internship post available :
supporting customer service :
The customer service is all systems with goal of maximize the customers
satisfaction.
The importants points are : the client contact, the after-sales, the
professionalism and kindness of staff, the price-quality ratio, etc.
We have to identified the KPI like the numbers of complaint about products
about staff etc. For evaluate the performance of after-sales, we can do
also surveys, programs feedback about most important clients.
