This document provides information about the impact of homicide on victims and their families. It defines different types of homicide and terms used. The emotional, physical, financial, and spiritual impacts of homicide are explored through examples of victims experiencing depression, physical ailments, job loss, and changes in beliefs. The ripple effects on families are also discussed, such as increased risk of suicide, mental health issues, and children being affected. Participants are given activities to understand victim experiences and reactions as well as plan a funeral. Accountability of offenders is addressed.
