If you have done your research you know that the three best noise cancellation headphones are the
Bose(Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® Headphones), the Sennheiser (Sennheiser
PXC 450 NoiseGard Active Noise-Canceling Headphones) and the Audi Techinica(Audio Technica
ATH-ANC7B Active Noise-Cancelling Closed-Back Headphones).
Here is a quick low down on what you need to know .
Size
The size of Bose headphones is just big enough to cover your ears. The Audio Technica are a little
larger and Sennheiser are the biggest of the three.
Comfort level:
The Sennheiser are quite comfortable and are made for all types of ears and therefore will not fatigue
your ears.
The Bose are also very comfortable The Audi Technical are also comfortable enough.
Sound Quality
The Sennheiser have absolutely great quality sound. They make Music you have been listening to
sound new.
Audio-Technica- They don’t have as high quality as Sennheiser but they are average and well balanced.
The Bose keeps up to its reputation of great sound . However you may have to play around with the
treble setting of your ipod to get the sound well balanced.
Features:
Sennheiser it comes with a quality cord and a push to talk button which mutes the NC and sounds.
The Audio Technica comes with an adapter and specialized airline adapter for connecting to in-flight
entertainment systems.
The Bose and Audio Technica have the on and off switch.
Carrying case
The carrying case of the three are all of good quality . The Audi Technica has a big bag that will fit all
your extra stuff including ipods, portable hard drives etc. The Sennheiser is square shaped and does not
have a lot of room for any additional stuff. The Bose is rather small and has minimal space for your
ipod and iphone.
The Senneheiser is a good quality headphone in terms of the overall and external design.
He AudioTechnica is also a quality item that should last you a long time.
The Bose while quality does not have that killer external look as the others.
Price:
The Audio Technica is the cheapest for between $160 and $220 . The Sennheiser is more medium
2. priced at $300 . The Bose is on the higher end at over $300.

Conclusion
However the reason we buy these headphones is nose cancellation. The Bose is the most quiet and kills
off most of the background noise. The Audio Technica also does a good job but not as superb as the
Bose . Even though the sound quality seems better in the Sennheiser – the noise cancellation is not bad
but not as good as Bose. This is why we recommend Bose as the best – if sound cancellation is your
primary goal.
If $300 plus is too much for you we suggest you go with the Audio technica for noise cancellation.
However if the quality of sound and music are important to you we suggest you go with either Bose or
Sennheiser which will cost your roughly the same . See prices of various vendors below.
