3. A formula is an expression that defines how one cell relates to other cells.
WHAT IS A FORMULA?
We want to work out the
price of Hard Cell and
Mario Kart.
So that’s 29.99 + 24.95
Or, cells: B6 + B8
As a formula it becomes: =SUM(B6+B8)

4. We now know the basic formula for addition. However if multiple rows in a
column are to be added together we can do the following:
MORE ADDITION
We want to add all values from cell B1 down to cell B5. We can do
this in two ways:
Method One: =SUM(B1+B2+B3+B4+B5)
Method Two: =SUM(B1:B5)
