2. Admission Policy
On the day of your appointment
Plan to arrive at the Pearson Professional Center at least 30 minutes before your scheduled testing time.
This will give you adequate time to complete the necessary sign-in procedures. If you arrive more than
30 minutes after your scheduled appointment, you may be required to forfeit your examination
appointment.
REMINDER: Cell/mobile phones, pagers or any other electronic devices may NOT be accessed at all
during your examination appointment (including breaks).
Acceptable Identification
When you arrive at the test center, you will be required to present your ATT and one form of acceptable
identification. The printed first and last names on your identification must match exactly the printed first
and last names on your ATT. Your identification must be printed in English language letters, must be
valid and unexpired (clearly stated), and have a recent photograph and a signature signed in English. The
only acceptable forms of identification at test centers located in the United States, American Samoa,
Guam, Northern Mariana Islands and Virgin Islands are U.S. drivers license (not temporary or learners
permit), U.S. state identification, and passport. The only acceptable identification for international test
centers and Puerto Rico is a passport. No other identification, including learner permits, is acceptable for
admittance to the NCLEX examination.
Please note - Identification from embargoed countries will not be accepted at the test centers. For
further information, please contact Pearson VUE at one of the phone numbers listed in the NCLEX
Candidate Bulletin or at www.pearsonvue.com/nclex.
You will not be admitted to the examination without the proper identification and your ATT; if either of
these requirements is not met, you will be turned away; if you arrive without these materials, you will
be required to re-register and re-pay to take the examination.

3. IMPORTANT: Registrations cannot be canceled, and there will be no refund of registration fees for any
reason. Changes to exam appointment times, dates and locations must be made at least one full
business day (24 hours) before your scheduled appointment.

FROM THE NORTH

4. From I-85 South, exit onto US 70 East which will become Glenwood Avenue and drive approximately 13
miles. From US 1 South, take I-540 West to US 70 East (Glenwood Ave). The center is located in the
office building at the corner of Glenwood Avenue and Pinecrest Road. After passing through the
Ebenezer Church Rd intersection (Carmax on the left) turn left at the next intersection with a traffic light
onto Pinecrest Road (Eatman's Carpet on right). After turning left at the stop light then turn right into
the parking lot entrance for the building.
FROM THE SOUTH
From US 1 or US 401, take I-40 West to I-440 East. From I-440 East take the US 70 West/Glenwood Ave.
exit (exit 7). Exit onto US 70 West which is Glenwood Avenue and drive approximately 4 miles passing
Crabtree Valley Mall. The center is located in the office building at the corner of Glenwood Avenue and
Pinecrest Road. After passing the Lynn Road intersection turn right at the next intersection which is
Pinecrest Road. After turning right at the stop light then turn right into the parking lot entrance for the
building.
FROM THE EAST
Take I-440 West to US 70 West/Glenwood Ave. exit (exit 7). Exit onto US 70 West which is Glenwood
Avenue and drive approximately 4 miles passing Crabtree Valley Mall toward Durham. The center is
located in the office building at the corner of Glenwood Avenue and Pinecrest Road. After passing the
Lynn Road intersection turn right at the next intersection which is Pinecrest Road. After turning right at
the stop light then turn right into the parking lot entrance for the building. (If I-540 is used from US 64,
follow directions below from I-540)
FROM THE WEST
From I-40, exit onto I-540 East (Northern Wake Expy). From I-540 East, take Exit 4A and stay in center
lane. At end of exit ramp there is a stoplight and keep straight onto US 70 East which is Glenwood Ave.
After passing through the Ebenezer Church Rd intersection (Carmax on the left) turn left at the next
intersection with a traffic light onto Pinecrest Road (Eatman's Carpet on right). After turning left at the
stop light then turn right into the parking lot entrance for the building.
DETAILED DIRECTIONS
Using the entrance facing Glenwood Avenue will provide direct access to the first floor. If your
appointment is after 5 pm during the week, or on a weekend, then you may be required to use this
entrance.

5. PARKING
Visitor parking is only available in the lots at the rear of the building. When you enter the drive for the
building, which is off Pinecrest Road, there is a sign that directs you to visitor parking. DO NOT PARK IN
RESERVED SPACES or your vehicle may be towed.
