AF contract is to provide total systems integration products andservices to modernize standard Automated Information Systems (AISs) into integrated

DPC Role: REMIS is a key component of the Air Force Depot Maintenance System, ultimately to be absorbed into the Expeditionary Combat Support System
program. The purpose of the system is to enhance front-end design of new weapon systems and increase the readiness and sustainabilityof existing systems
by improving the availability, accuracy, and flow of essential equipment information. REMIS provides the capability to collect, edit, validate, process, store,
and report R&M data on Aerospace Vehicles, Trainers, ATE,Support Equipment, and Communications-Electronics equipment in the following functional
areas: Equipment Maintenance, Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO), Time Change Inspection (TCI), Configuration, Debriefing, Inventory, Status, and
Utilization. REMIS functionality is split across itssubsystems, including Equipment Inventory, Multiple Status, and Utilization Reporting Subsystem; Product
Performance Subsystem; Generic Configuration Status Accounting Subsystem; and Multi-Service Interface Agent. Original REMIS applications consist of 3.1
million lines of source code writtenin COBOL85 and SCOBOL using a SQL MP database running in an HP S-series NonStop Guardian environment. Most new
and some migratedapplications are integrated with the GCSS-AF Integration Framework using Java and C++ software accessing an Oracle 9i database in a
Solaris environment. Other applications use stored procedures written in Java with Oracle 9i in a LINUX environment. Cognos ReportNet is used to generate
end user standard reports. NGIT sustains and upgrades REMIS for MSG. As such, they have primary responsibility for analysis, design, development, test,
integration, and maintenance activities.

Project Description: GTN is a state-of-the-art, secure, Web-based command and control system to support the evolution of the Defense transportation
mission in meeting the changing needs of the U.S. military worldwide. The system provides aggregated information such that the Secretary of Defense,
combatant commanders, USTRANSCOM (single manager), and other transportation information customerscan plan, have visibility of, make decisions on, and
execute the transportation mission. GTN interfaces with commercial transportation carriers, such as long-haul trucking companies that transport Defense
cargo, and DOD feeder systems, and transmits millions of transactions daily through the system network. Lockheed Martin is responsible for legacy system
maintenance and sustainment until GTN’s replacement, the DLA Integrated Data Environment (IDE)/GTN Convergence (IGC), reaches full operational
capability. Additionally, Lockheed Martin is responsible for maintenance and sustainment of the GTN Pre-Planned Product Improvement (P3I) data warehouse
until IGC spiral development begins. Associated development and test activities are conducted at company facilities in Manassas, VA.
DPC Role: As a subcontractor to Lockheed Martin, DPC provides a broad range of IT support to USTRANSCOM projects. This effort includes performance and
capacity system engineering for a large-scale hardware/software COTS integration with some developed software; Oracle RDBMS set-up and configuration;
development and execution of database DDL; ETL and Business Intelligence development; performance tuning; core application and data warehouse
data modeling; design and implementation of a metadata management strategy using such tools as Business Objects, Informatica, DataFlux, Erwin, and
System Architect; Java J2EE code development to augment the functionality of the Informatica tool suite; Test Automation Strategy development and
implementation; creation and execution of test specifications and test steps/cases; maintaining a Requirements Traceability Matrix and development of
a Verification Strategy and Plan; development, documentation, and evaluation of system and enterprise information assurance solutions; development of
Business Objects universes and reports; and Remedy consulting. $2,544,504 in services provided
