Cheryl has several years experience working at Mary Shiels Surgical
Hospital in Dallas TX in front office operations, back office operations, and ultimately as
Medical Records Director.
As Medical Records Director Cheryl created Process Improvement Policies to increase
efficiencies and record completion compliance. This resulted in increase of information
retrieval and speed to revenue.
Cheryl’s knowledge of facility documentation workflow and technology assisted
physician offices and groups with EMR and Scanning solution selection of IMPACT
M.D. IMPACT M.D. is now a part of Allscripts.
As a contributor with a large Industrial Distributor, Grainger Industrial Supplies, Cheryl
is familiar with Healthcare Group Purchasing Organization and LEAN initiatives.
Cheryl is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and Computer Learning Center
of Dallas.
Cheryl is an active member and volunteer of The World Affairs Council and a Volunteer
with the Network of Community Children and Adolescent Clinic in Richardson.
