RMIT VIETNAM
RESEARCH OFFICE
RMIT’s long history of involvement in research in
Vietnam dates back prior to the inception of the
RMIT Vietnam campus. From the facilitation of
environmental study trips for Melbourne-based
undergraduates to breakthrough research in the
fields of education, the environment, childhood
poverty, and economic reform, the relationship
between RMIT and Vietnam has always been
strong.
In the years since its establishment on-ground,
RMIT Vietnam has continued this tradition and
successfully produced research that has been
published in world class, highly-ranked journals and
books.
To take its work to the next level and grow its
capabilities, RMIT Vietnam established a research
office in January 2015.
The RMIT Vietnam Research Office will focus on
four main themes:
» Industry and Innovation
» Sustainable Future and Urban Development
» Creative Societies
» Scholarship and Education
The Office will continue to work with a network of
collaborators and research partners throughout
Asia and Australia, Europe and North America to
establish RMIT University Vietnam as a new global
hub for research.
Masters by coursework students will benefit from
exposure to the real-world work and expertise of
the research team, while the Office will support
higher degree research candidates when these
study opportunities become available in the future.
