3. This chateau is located in Loire Valley along with all the
other huge chateaux
4. The Chambord chateau is the most recognized
chateau because of it’s extensive features and it’s
architecture. It was said to be designed be Leonardo
Da Vinci himself. Even it looks like a defensive castle, it
was never made to actually provide a form of defence.
The pretty walls and such were made for just
decoration.
6. Historical Stuff
Francois the First built the chateau.
The building of it was slowed by a war that declined the
royal funds which almost completely stopped building
altogether.
The whole house was alomost always unfurnished
during Francis’ life.
The chateau was then abandoned for 80 years and
then given to Gaston d’Orleans by King Louis.
The ownership of the chateau jumped around for tons
of years and now is a major tourist attraction.
