1. Let’s Get Started with...

2. Go to Sasi
• Print out a class roster from one of your
classes you would like to use the
blackboard site with.

3. Go to bb.misd.net
• Click Login.
• Type in your username and password
• Click on the class you printed a roster out
for.

4. All editing/adding to this site will
be done through the control panel

5. First we will add students
You can use this area
to navigate backward
through the site at any
time.

6. Adding Students
• Click Create User
• Fill in required information only
• Make up an e-mail address such as
dangelo@ucs.net
• To enable easy searches and avoid duplicate
usernames create a username such as
ikelawdangelo
• Enter a password (I use their first names)
• Click submit to finish.

7. To add an Announcement

8. Click add announcement and
type away

9. Click assignments to add an activity

10. Click the Add Item button

11. Name the Assignment and type
any instructions or web links.

12. To attach a saved file click the
Browse button.

13. Select the location where the file
is saved

14. To enter your test into
blackboard

15. Select Add Quiz/Exam or Add
Survey

16. Assessment Properties
• Fill in name and description for test.
• Click submit.
• Enter instructions and click submit.

17. Choose Question Type

18. Advanced allows the addition of
images and audio files

19. • Type in question text
• Fill in possible answers
• Enter responses to correct or
incorrect answers.
• Submit
