PROMOTIONAL METHODS
By Daniel Gleeson
INTRODUCTION

• To promote my magazine I have started to think about
different but really effective ways to make my magazine more
out there so it can been seen by more people and can become
more popular. Also to increase the readership and the amount
of sales and by doing this I could attacked more customers
and different types of customers. I have the money to invest
so any way possible to get my magazine out there I can afford
and will to make my magazine more of a success. I could
promote it by making TV adverts and having radio mentions
but I think it would be better to advertise it on the sides of
transport and also billboards because more people will see it.
TRANSPORT

• As I said in the introduction I think that transport will be a
really good way to promote my magazine. The first way would
be to promote my magazine on London buses because they
travel very far, they are everywhere and they are always used by
the public to get around so they will always see it. By using
buses I will get a lot of exposure and attention which will
really benefit my magazine.
• Also I will use London black cabs because they are all over
London and that is the capital of England so there will be
loads of customers there because it has a massive population.
So this will also benefit my magazine a lot.
BILLBOARDS

• These are very effective and very large which is good because
then I can attract the maximum amount of attention to my
magazine. If I locate my billboard in a good place it will get a
lot of attention like if I put them on a main road or dual
carriage way then people can see it as they drive and loads of
people drive so I will get a lot of attention towards my
magazine. Also I could put it on underground station walls so
people can see it as they get on the train and the trains are
always very busy so it will attract more customers because they
might want to read on the train. Finally if I include something
unique and different I can excite some of the potential
customers to buy my magazine.
