1. PHASE TWO DARK MATTER IS LOCATED IN SUBTLE PLANETS At first consideration the view of the universe given in the Tantras for the Mandala offering appears to be totally symbolic when actually they are symbols of truth. Other statements in the Tantras that the Earth is supported by a golden disk and spiraling currents of air and water are generally considered completely without merit by any serious cosmologist. This creates a paradox for those who accept the infallibility of Buddha's knowledge and compels us to ask a solution. The answer lies in understanding the nature of the creative substance of the heavenly ( and hell) worlds as it manifests in this world. A crude example is how water manifests as humidity, vapor, clouds, condensation, a body of water and ice. It is the same substance in different states. The heavens and other subtle worlds are made of condensed creative (or uncompounded) substance also manifesting in this ‘visible’ realm. For instance, what we call gravity here is experienced as something solid by a being on a subtle level. Our magnetic energy is experienced as water on the subtle plane. The density of energy we call Lung or Paraná would be experienced as air and something like lightning would be seen as fire of the Heavenly worlds. When we apply this understanding to the idea the earth is supported by a golden disk we can come to the following conclusion. The Earth and all the planets have a disk that coincides with the equator. This disk is formed by the interaction between the planets gravitational and magnetic forces. On Saturn these rings are visible because the force is strong enough to trap ice particles, but all the planets have them. This is the golden disk as seen from the subtle realm. The spiraling currents of water and air are what we call the magnetic field of the planet. Because we are obscured or ego centered we think of the earth to be solid and foundational but actually the so-called solid is supported by the magnetic-gravitational levels. The existence of Mt. Meru and the four continents on the physical level and their counterparts in the heavenly realms can also be established within the context of modern cosmology/astrophysics although this requires visual assistance for a person who is unfamiliar with these ideas. This is soon to come in the form of a computer graphics/animation video. The video will contain a model of the universe incorporating new scientific findings disproving the 'big bang' theory but are in harmony with the idea of the universe as a great 'wheel of time' or Kala Chakra

THIS IS A GOOD TIME TO INTRODUCE THE ABOVE ATATEMENT FROM THE ABHIDHARMAKOSH BECAUSE IT MAKES THE TRANSITION INTO THE NEXT PHASE BY DESCRIBING HOW THE NATURE OF WATER IS A GOOD ANALOYGY FOR THE ETHERIC CREATIVE SUBSTANCE.
