4. He marched with black people to fight for their rights.

5. He stood up for the rights of black people and people of
all races and religions.

6. He believed in justice for all people.

7. He believed in non-violence and civil disobedience.

8. He was arrested many times for his beliefs and actions.

9. He showed America that it was divided and didn't
protect the rights of all its people.

10. His most famous speech is "I have a dream".

11. On the third Monday of January we celebrate a day to
remember him and his ideals.

12. Unfortunately, Martin Luther King Jr. was killed
by a lone gunman on April 4th, 1968.
