3. Elisa test Elisa is short for enzyme linked immunoabsorbant assay. This is a test to detect the presence of an antibody or antigen in a sample.
4. Elisa The Elisa test is the first test used to detect infection with HIV. If antibodies are present, then further types of tests (Western Blot, PCR) would be performed to confirm the Elisa positive HIV test.

Symptoms include painless swelling of the lymph nodes, fatigue, fever, and unexplained weight loss. Tests and procedures used to diagnose are: biopsies, CT scans, PET scans, MRI's, blood tests, and bone marrow biopsies. Treatment may include chemotherapy, radiation, and bone marrow transplant.
