28. Atypical hyperplasia (simple) The glandular epithelium here is extremely atypical, but residual endometrial stroma separates all glands in this field. Because of the severity of the atypia, a specimen such as this should be examined thoroughly to rule out the concomitant presence of carcinoma.

33. Endometrioid carcinoma Endometrioid carcinoma at low (A) and high (B) power shows gland formation, and cells with a low nuclear to cytoplasmic ratio. Higher grade endometrioid carcinoma would show a greater proportion of solid growth.
