Editor's Notes
You choose the topic area and the product format you want to
NHD – Enter your independent investigation of a historical topic in a statewide and possibly national competition. Based on an annual theme – such as “The Individual in History” and “Innovations: Impact and Change”
OM – A lot of fun but a big commitment. Time: Quest time, after school once a week, more as competition gets closer, several Saturdays
NHD – Enter your independent investigation of a historical topic in a statewide and possibly national competition. OM – A lot of fun but a big commitment. Time: Quest time, after school once a week, more as competition gets closer, several Saturdays WW – a break from our research to have some fun and use our creative thinking through games, activities, the Internet, and guest speakers.
I really stress the “real world problem” aspect of the definition of a Type III investigation. I makes the process so much more “real” for the kids.
As varied as the topics are, so are the product choices.
You can afford the LL time away from your team teachers (and not in 2 large perf music groups )
