addresses from your website. That way you potentially, over time will have hundred of customers.
You can then make them a regular offer. This is just one of the ways businesses are making money
through social networks like Twitter. By sending out a link to a special offer for twitter followers only.
What could you offer your customers in the next few months. Do you have a seasonal range can you link
it to ? perhaps something that is happening locally?
In the UK Autumn is now with us. From an email blast by our local garden center we are now the proud
owners of a 3 for 2 offer for winter pansies!! There was a great email headline followed by a connection
to the local cold weather we had been experiencing. That peeked our interest, and made us take action
on a cold Saturday afternoon. Easy and quick to do of course with online marketing. A quick email
constructed and mailed out with an email autoresponder software programme.

3. As you might have guessed when we went to the Garden centre we didn’t just buy pansies. 3 candles, 2
Christmas decorations, 2 plant pots and 3 herb plants later we left. After of course 2 cups of tea a scone
and a flap jack. Classic upselling by being in the right place at the right time.
