History of education in Egypt was marked by the arrival of
Napoleon Bonaparte conquered Egypt since 1798 m. the
presence of Napoleon Bonaparte in addition to putting a
strong force, also bring scientists with a set of scientific
equipment to conduct the research. Character education
reforms in Egypt: Muhammad Ali, Pasya At
Tahtawi, Muhammad Abduh, Rashid Ridha, Al
Afgani, Jamaludin Ali Mubarak, Educational purposes in
Egypt is setting up and developing Egypt's citizens in a way
that will help them to adjust to the demands of a changing
society to meet the challenges of the modern
renewables, other than allowing them to understand the
dimensions of religious, national, cultural and of their
identity. The education system in Egypt has two systems
nationality and Al-Azhar University
Under this system, the low and medium ranking school administered
by the Ministry of high school rankings and Lessons administered
by the Ministry of Higher Learning. The period of the study under
this system are as follows:
1. The low Ranking (ibtidai): 6 years
2. Medium-low Ranking(i'dadi): 3 years
3. Medium-top Ranking(thanawi): 3 years
4. University Rankings (jamiah): 4-6 years
There are eleven of the University under the
National education system, namely:
1. Kaherah University
2. Ain Shams University
3. Al-Menia University
4. Mansourah University
5. Nasr City University
6. Suez Canal University
7. Alexandria University
8. Sohag University
9. Tanta University
10. Zaqaziq University
11. Al-Manoufia University
All of the recitation of Al-Azhar of low rank to rank high is located
under the Administrative Council of Al-Azhar's Supreme
