- 18. Advanced Bionics Auria FireFly™ lights up to provide visual confirmation that the processor is communicating with the implant and the power source is operating. When first on, it will flicker either 1or 2 times depending on which program is active. It will illuminate a steady amber light if the system is functioning properly. It will flicker rhythmically if the processor is not communicating with the internal implant. It will not illuminate at all if the battery is depleted.
